The Producers (1968)

The Producers (1968) is a comedy film written and directed by Mel Brooks. A washed up theatrical producer convinces his accountant to help him over sell his next play in order to profit from it's failure

DADDY: What did you think of the movie?

LILLY: I thought it was awesome, wonderful and very funny.

DADDY: It it a triumph!

DADDY: Who was your favourite character?

LILLY: My favourite character is Leo (Gene Wilder) because he is so funny.

DADDY: He played Willy Wonka too.

LILLY: Really?

DADDY: Yes. I'm torn between him and Max Bialystock (Zero Mostel).

DADDY: What was your favourite moment?

LILLY: The show, all of it.

LILLY and DADDY: Spring time for Hitler and Germany Winter for Poland and France!

DADDY: I think that is one of my all time favourite movie moments.

LILLY: Me too.

DADDY: Would you recommend it to your friends?

LILLY: Yes because it is wonderful and very funny.

DADDY: How many stars would you give it?

LILLY: A hundred.

DADDY: Sounds reasonable to me. You know it is wrong to con money from old ladies?

LILLY: Yes.

DADDY: Even when your scheme is very funny.

LILLY: LOL

Scooby-Doo (2002)

Scooby-Doo (2002) is a comedy horror film based upon the Hanna-Barbera cartoon television series. It was directed by Raja Gosnell with a screenplay by James Gunn.

DADDY: What did you think of the movie?

LILLY: It was amazing.

DADDY: I like it too. How many times have you seen it already?

LILLY: A thousand and two.

DADDY: Who was your favourite character?

LILLY: I like Scooby (voiced by Neil Fanning) because he is cute and funny..

DADDY: I like Shaggy (Mathew Lillard).

LILLY: Really?

DADDY: Yes because despite being a coward he do will anything to save Scooby.

LILLY: Or a sandwich.

DADDY: Yes and I can relate to that.

LILLY: LOL.

DADDY: What was your favourite moment?

LILLY: It would have to be the farting competition.

DADDY: Me too, it is inspirational.

DADDY: Would you recommend it to your friends?

LILLY: Yes!.

DADDY: How many stars would you give it?

LILLY: I'm giving it twenty five.

DADDY: Me too.

DADDY: I wish there really was a Spooky Island.

LILLY: Me too!

Arachnophobia (1990)

Arachnophobia (1990) is a horror comedy film directed by Frank Marshall with a screenplay by Don Jakoby and Wesley Strick. A deadly new species of Venezuelan spider is introduced into a small American town.

DADDY: What did you think of the movie?

LILLY: It was freaking fantastic!

DADDY: It was. I think I'm more afraid of spiders than you.

LILLY: I disagree..

DADDY: Who was your favourite character?

LILLY: It was Delbert the exterminator (John Goodman) because he reminded me of you.

DADDY: Me too, he was funny.

LILLY: Like you.

DADDY: What was your favourite moment?

LILLY: When the Doctor (Jeff Daniels) tried to torch the big mother spider.

DADDY: Yeah! I liked the bit when they are trapped in the house full of spiders.

LILLY: Yes and I liked the bit when they were looking at the dead bodies.

DADDY: The autopsy?

LILLY: Yep.

DADDY: And you think I'm weird?

LILLY: You are.

DADDY: Would you recommend it to your friends?.

LILLY: Definitely but only to all the people who are frightened of spiders.

DADDY: Just about everyone then?

LILLY: Yeah.

DADDY: How many spiders would you give it?

LILLY: I'm giving it thirty.

DADDY: Me too.

DADDY: Pa showed me how to burn out funnel web spiders once and a flaming spider ran right at me like in the movie. I screamed like a baby.

LILLY: You are such a wuss dad!

Godzilla (2014)

Godzilla (2014) is a science fiction monster film direceted by Gareth Edwards with a screenplay by Max Borenstein. It retells the classic story of the iconic Japanese daikaiju and depicts him faithfully as a terrifying force of nature. 

DADDY: What did you think of the movie?

LILLY: I thought it was awesome!

DADDY: Not too scary for you?

LILLY: A little bit too scary.

DADDY: Who was your favourite character?

LILLY: That would be the son of the scientist, Ford Brody (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) because he is a hero.

DADDY: I liked Godzilla because he is also a hero and the undisputed king of the monsters.

LILLY: I don't think he is a hero

DADDY: So he smashed a few buildings and squashed a few people. That is called collateral damage.

LILLY: LOL.

DADDY: What was your favourite moment?

LILLY: Probably when Godzilla returned to the ocean.

DADDY: I liked the bit when the soldiers parashoot into the city. It was visually stunning

LILLY: I agree

DADDY: Would you recommend it to your friends?.

LILLY: Yes because it is a great movie to watch and it was also a little sad

DADDY: How many stars would you give it?

LILLY: I'm giving it twenty five.

DADDY: I'm giving it the same.

DADDY: Would you like to see more Godzilla movies?.

LILLY: Yes but not with men in suits like you told me about.

DADDY: Oh. Can I call our King Charles Dogzilla?

LILLY: No daddy because she is a cute little puppy and not a monster!
